The holidays have a way of shifting everything—your mood, your pace, your style. The days fill with movement, the evenings with anticipation, and every gathering becomes an occasion to celebrate.

It’s more than just part of your look; it’s part of your energy. How you style your hair before stepping out can shape how you carry yourself all night long. We invite you to treat your hair ritual as something to savor, not speed through, turning your routine into a moment of care and letting calm confidence replace the rush.

The secret? Ease. Soft, heatless waves that fall just right. Airy, touchable volume. A gleaming gold clip that catches the light. When your styling feels as effortless as it looks, you step into the night with a sense of grace that lingers long after.

Let your hair ritual set the mood this holiday season. Enjoy the process, indulge in the details, and let each step—prep, style, and finish—be a reminder that getting ready is part of the celebration. Ahead, we’re sharing five looks perfect for every festive soirée, from cozy dinners to midnight toasts.

Heatless Waves

Hair Alchemy Heatless Styling Balm is the perfect companion for soft, natural-looking waves without any heat.

For this overnight hairstyle, first apply the styling balm to damp hair before twisting strands around a heatless curling rod.

After waking up the next morning, remove the rod from your hair and boost the body and texture using Dry Texturizing Spray.

Gilded Touches

If you’re partial to sparkle, this one is for you.

Oribe Principal Artist Mandee Tauber created an edgy yet romantic look by misting hair with Maximista Thickening Spray from roots to ends and rough-drying for grip, then spraying Gold Lust Dry Heat Protection Spray onto mid-lengths and ends and curling with a 1¼-inch iron to smooth and define.

She adds lift at the crown with Swept Up Volume Powder, parts hair softly to the side, and sweeps a few pieces across the hairline for a lived-in finish.

Sections are divided and tied into a loose, low knot secured with elastic thread, and the style is detailed and set with Superfine Hair Spray.

Hair jewelry adds a final sparkle, making the look striking and sophisticated for a night of celebration.

Cascading Curls

While blowouts and updos are pretty for the holidays, embracing natural curls feels effortlessly cozy.

First, use a quick spritz of Mystify Restyling Spray to reactivate curls, smooth frizz, and refresh shine.

If you have any stray strands, you can hit them quickly with a 3/8-inch barrel iron or a ½-inch barrel iron to define curls and coils.

Luxe Bangs

These bangs are soft, elegant, and iconic, making them perfect for letting your personality shine through during family gatherings.

Global Artist Gardner Edmunds creates playful, bouncy fringe, first protecting strands with Gold Lust Dry Heat Protection Spray.

Next, he builds tousled texture and volume with Dry Texturizing Spray, and then finishes with Superfine Hair Spray for flexible, shiny-soft hold.

The result is bangs that move naturally, frame the face beautifully, and add a polished, dynamic touch to your look.

Iconic Volume

The holiday season can call for back-to-back (...to back…) parties, so don’t be afraid to wear the same ‘do a few nights in a row.

To refresh your second—or third-day hairstyle, spray Dry Texturizing Spray throughout your hair to create lift at the roots and tousled strands to give hair that lived-in movement and supermodel-like volume.
