Oribe Partners with Black Beauty Roster and Harlem’s Fashion Row
February marks the beginning of Black History Month. For Oribe, this means returning to our roots—finding new ways to amplify Black hair care and artistry through meaningful connection and creative collaboration. Together, we joined forces with our partners at Black Beauty Roster and Harlem Fashion Row to host the first-ever Beauty Collective Event in NYC. The two-day experience united leading voices in fashion and beauty with our community to empower, educate, and inspire the next generation of artistry.
While we were busy flexing our hosting skills, here’s what you may have missed:
Day One: When Beauty and Fashion Speak the Same Language
The event kicked off with quality conversation and even better company. Oribe’s Director of Education Strategy and Consumer Content, Ke’ala Kamalu, joined leaders from L’Oreal, PVH, and Kith to exchange industry insight and lived experience, leaving our attendees inspired and ready to take action. Our key takeaway? Collaboration and community building aren’t just the future of fashion—they’re the foundation. We can’t stop thinking about it.
Day Two: Where Education Meets Artistry
The following day, 30 professional artists stepped inside Oribe’s headquarters for an immersive, hands-on demonstration led by Oribe Global Ambassador Stacey Ciceron. From in-depth product education to real-time artistry, the experience was rooted in skill-building, co-creation, and connection—celebrating another standout collaboration with Black Beauty Roster while warmly welcoming a new wave of #OribeObsessed creatives into the fold.
The Beauty Collective: Business of Beauty in Fashion Event was a reminder that success is best shared—inviting our community inside of Oribe’s creative process and shaping what comes next together.
