Oribe Wants You to “Look More”


An iconic hair product is one that completely changes the game, and for us, that’s Dry Texturizing Spray. Designed by Oribe Canales himself, Dry Texturizing Spray creates a rough-luxe tousled texture, incredible volume, and invisible hold for effortlessly glamorous hair. It was intended to put editorial expertise and backstage-speed styling in your hands.
Our latest “Look More” campaign is all about the Dry Texturizing Spray, and this past July, our team rang it in with not one but *two* events: an Influencer Masterclass and an Editorial Stylist Dinner. Both moments honored our legendary founder, Oribe Canales, while celebrating the next generation of tastemakers who carry his legacy forward. Here’s everything that went down.

Oribe Artists Gardner Edmunds and Christopher Valentine offered guests one-on-one styling tips and product swaps tailored to their hair types.
Influencers followed along at styling stations equipped with tools from the set, including curling irons, flat irons, Oribe brushes, and, of course, a full lineup of Oribe styling products.With their hair freshly tousled, guests cooled down with ice cream at the Oribe-branded dessert bar, sipped handcrafted summer cocktails, and grabbed takeaway from Pura Vida Miami.

Before heading out, influencers received specially curated gift bags, which included a cropped sweatshirt with an image of Oribe Canales on the front, a Dopp kit stuffed with cult beauty products, a travel-size set of the day’s stylers, and a Dry Texturizing Spray newspaper, which highlights brand history and styling notes.

At the Editorial Stylist Dinner the following evening, we gathered a select group of top editorial stylists for an intimate dinner as a thank-you to the community that shaped Oribe’s reputation in salons and shoots alike.
Talia Thomas and Mandee Tauber opened the night with a toast to Oribe Canales and the lasting impact of Dry Texturizing Spray. Guests strengthened relationships with one another and connected with the Oribe team on a deeper level while sharing stories about their experiences with the brand and with Oribe Canales. The evening served as a reminder of the artistry, connection, and iconography that define our brand.

The day was a celebration of what it means to "Look More," and of Dry Texturizing Spray, which remains a cultural touchstone in the hair world, even 15 years after its genesis. Through these thoughtful activations, we honored our past while sparking excitement for Oribe's future.
