Developed over the course of three years, we designed Supershine Smoothing Wax Stick to smooth, sculpt, and add shine to strands with precision. At first glance, its unique shape is what sets it apart. Sleek and sculptural, the intentional design functions as seamlessly as it looks. The curved silhouette follows the contours of the crown, allowing for effortless application across larger sections, while the edges offer control for refining the smallest details. 

From the formula to the packaging, every detail was carefully considered, down to how the product dispenses and how the packaging fits into your hand. It took our team eight iterations of the rotational mechanism to make sure it operated flawlessly, perfecting the click and creating an experience that delivers control with every use.

The product creation process is a truly collaborative partnership with our product development and packaging teams. As one is perfecting the aesthetic and function, the other is honing in on efficacious formulas that set themselves apart in our industry. Before finalizing any new product, we share with our Global Artists to test in real-world conditions and gather feedback directly from industry-leading professionals who spend their lives behind the chair, working with clients, on set, and backstage.

Members of Team Oribe also tested the wax stick in high-humidity settings, from hot pilates to post-workout saunas, to ensure unwavering performance, even when the heat is on. Each adjustment brought the product closer to its final form. A finish that holds, smooths, and adapts while remaining touchable, refined, and weightless.
