Patricia Sañes doesn’t need a gun and galoshes for her hunting excursions—a creative mind and deep knowledge of upcoming trends are the only gadgets she requires. Patricia hunts for what’s cool in the worlds of fashion and beauty, and her pursuits have led to a wildly successful blog, engaging YouTube channel and an Instagram presence followed by more than one hundred thousand supporters.
A journalist by trade and passion, Patricia’s father encouraged her to launch a blog and coolhunterdiary.com was born with the goal to inform those who wanted to listen about fashion and lifestyle choices, and, of course, to entertain. Patricia, who has a self-imposed rigorous work schedule, is based in Barcelona and is highly influenced by eclectic European style and a healthy balance of fun and serious.
We chatted with the bi-lingual blogger to get her take on what we should keep an eye out for down the proverbial trail.
You have a constant flow of content to your Instagram, blog and YouTube channel. How do you come up with so much content and where do you get your inspiration?
I get my inspiration from Fashion Week, street style, other influencers, fashion magazines, television series and the cinema. I work every day—I don't have real holidays—because I want to publish new content to social media.
How would you describe your style?
What are a few runway trends you are excited to dive into in the upcoming Spring 2018 season?
I'm can’t wait to dress in pink. I’m also excited for PVC coats, glitter bags, flower prints and colorful dresses.
Even though we can dream of warmer weather, it is frigid outside. What are your winter saviors?
In the colder months, my skin needs more moisturize and flash ampoules. Anti-aging flash ampoules are capsules containing active ingredients that eliminate signs of fatigue, add moisture, smooth and tighten.
How does living in Barcelona influence your lifestyle?
I definitely have a European-influenced style. Thanks to our warm weather I can wear denim jackets almost year round.
What is your must-have Oribe product?
I’m in love with the Oribe Signature Moisture Masque. Once a week I use it in place of my conditioner for its nourishing effects.
Tell me about a recent travel excursion.
At the end of 2017 I went to Cartagena de Indias. The fashion designer Silvia Tcherassi invited me to her cool boutique hotel, Tcherassi Hotel + Spa, in Colombia. I’ve always wanted to visit that region.
What is your everyday hair routine?
I wash my hair every day with shampoo (try Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore Shampoo) and conditioner (try Oribe Gold Lust Repair & Restore Conditioner). After that, I apply serum or oil (try Oribe Featherbalm Weightless Styler or Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil) before blowing dry.
