"Halle's Hollywood"

"Halle had never worn her hair in this type of style, and I was very interested in doing something different," says Oribe. "I was inspired by the clothes for the shoot, which had an Art Deco influence. I also referenced the film The Professional with Natalie Portman. She was only about 13 at the time, and she had this great little bob that looked so perfect. I wanted Halle抯 hair to be very sharp and direct in that same way and not at all bulky. The idea was to get flat, straight hair with soft, moveable bangs to create interest."

How to get the look:
1. To get this look, first blow‐dry hair straight using Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray.
2. Next, apply Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray to the hair shaft, and use a flat iron all over. Soft Lacquer Heat Styling Spray imparts a beautiful shine and a smooth finish.
3. As a last step, smooth any stray hairs with a flat brush to perfect the look, which has more or less no volume.

"If you want to request this style, you can tell your hairdresser you want a shorter bob," Oribe says. "The key is that it needs to be tailored to each person, by changing the length of the bangs, for example. The whole style is about simplicity and strength卛t抯 actually a bit severe in its strength. Anyone can wear this style, and your hairstylist should help you modify it to work with your features and lifestyle."
