Oribe Shine Manicure

In honor of the launch of our new Shine Light Reflecting Spray, celebrity and editorial nail artist Jin Soon created a nail design inspired by both the can and the trends of the season. 揥hen creating nail art, I always go for a look that is simple and elegant, which fits right in with the Oribe line, said Jin, who launched the JINsoon nail polish line in September. 揇ark colors like deep blues, reds and purples are in for fall, and the glitter and metallic polishes of summer are still going strong. This look combines those elements.

While the design was created to help introduce Shine, Jin says it抯 also a great look for the holidays. 揑t抯 so decadent, she says. 揂 normal red would look too expected, so change it up and use a garnet, sapphire or emerald base with gold or silver tips.

Watch Oribe抯 director of content, Lori Morris, get the inaugural Oribe Shine manicure, then check out the step-by-step instructions in the slide show above. Although it looks complicated, it抯 actually quite easy to do with a friend (or bring into your local salon). If doing nail art on each of your digits isn抰 your thing, try just applying the design to your ring finger on each hand.
