To complement the “medieval grunge” fashion at Titania Inglis New York Fashion Week debut, lead stylist Ramona Eschbach for Oribe Hair Care created a look that was both polished and a little bit messy. “We did sleek, straight hair and then gave it a lived-in feel on the ends with Dry Texturizing Spray,” Eschbach said.

Here’s how to recreate the style:
1. Blow-dry hair with Royal Blowout and flat-iron straight.
2. Set a center part in place with Foundation Mist.
3. Pull back hair on one side and create a hidden braid to keep hair in place and eliminate some of the bulk. Use Imperméable to set the braid.
4. Spray Dry on the ends to create texture.
