Hair by Ramona Eschbach for Oribe Hair Care

Calla took a trip to the beach this season, reinventing her normally ultra feminine and flirty look with elements of grunge and surf culture. "Calla was really inspired by old issues of
Sassy magazine from the '90s for this collection. She's also introducing bathing suits this season, so she really wanted to have a beachy texture to the hair, but nothing that was too perfect," said lead hairstylist and Oribe educator Ramona Eschbach backstage. To tie in some of the elements from the clothes, Ramona used neon strings taken from fabric used in the collection to braid into the each model's hair. Each girl got her own individual style depending on the length of her hair, which added to the playfulness of this girly collection.

Get the look:
1. Spray dry hair with Foundation Mist and work into hair with hands to bring out natural wave and texture. Spray Après Beach throughout the ends to add even more texture.
2. Take a few strands of neon string and wrap around a strand of hair. Braid string into hair, either in a tiny braid or fishtail. Long hair lends itself well to single and double braids, while short hair looks best with one or two tiny braids throughout. The braids should feel very loose and natural, allowing the texture you created in the previous steps to shine through.
3. Once you have finished braiding your hair, break up the braid a bit with your hands and spray the ends with Dry Texturizing Spray.
