"Hair & Now: The Hair Turban"

Desert dwellers used turbans to protect against the scorching sun and whipping sands. Now these head wraps are saving the rest of us from bad hair days. So the next time you find yourself trying to battle frizz with an arsenal of products, take cover under a silk scarf. Try this simple technique: Fold your scarf into a triangle, position it on your head with the ends forward, tie a knot, and tuck in the free parts. "The look is young and soft," says Oribe, who created a similar style for the most recent Giorgio Armani show.
