"Vision of Femininity"

Oribe styled the Victoria’s Secret Angel for the latest issue of Italian Vogue - opting for natural texture and a sense of excess.

Oribe explains: “The focus here was a beautiful, soft, gorgeous woman with beautiful, textured, wavy hair…with exaggeration but still natural. This look still has the excess of big hair, but there’s an ease to the hairline…something very soft that I find incredibly attractive. It’s the kind of hair we did in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s on all the supermodels…it’s almost like a throwback to that moment in time, when those girls were bigger than life.”

How to get the look:
1. Use Gel Sérum to create a full set with pin curls.
2. Brush the curled hair well, then take a water bottle and mist it lightly through the hairline to create a natural fuzziness…that’s what is beautiful in this story.
3. Adjust the hairstyle to fit the occasion. Whether worn in a ponytail or down, this hair is gorgeous – and it’s very much what a woman with wavy hair would do in real life.
