Veronica Beard

Hair by Rutger

Lead hairstylist Rutger created a fun and flirty ’60s-inspired look for Veronica Beard’s colorful Spring/Summer 2015 collection. “The look definitely has a shape with a little height at the crown. It’s put together in a very loose way—the undone feel is important,” said Rutger. “I wanted the girls to look as if they had done their hair themselves before a fun night out.”

Get the Look:
1. Saturate dry hair with Maximista Thickening Spray. Create an off-center part and blow-dry with a paddle brush.
2. Use a curling iron to create loose waves.
3. Tease the top and use your hands to build volume at the crown.
4. Take an inch-wide section near the part and gently pull it to frame the face.
5. Finish with Après Beach Wave & Shine Spray for separation and shine and Superfine Hair Spray to lock the style in place.
