Vera Wang Bridal Spring 2013

Hair by Roberto Di Cuia

For Vera Wang’s Spring 2013 bridal presentation, hairstylist Roberto Di Cuia created an effortlessly chic style that perfectly balanced the structured red gowns. “The theme for the show was a romantic Renaissance woman,” Di Cuia said. “The hairstyle inspiration was essentially a modern Princess Leia who slept overnight in her famous hairdo.” Here’s how to get the look:

1. Rough dry the hair to bring out the natural texture. Apply Dry Texturizing Spray throughout and scrunch the hair.
2. Pull hair into two low side ponytails with a center part. Create a loop in the hair on each side, leaving select pieces out, and secure with elastics.
3. Use two pieces that were left out to wrap around the elastics on each side. Leave others loose for a messy, carefree finish.
