SSAW Spring Summer 2014

SSAW Magazine, Spring/Summer 2014
Hair by Ramona Eschbach

Finnish fashion magazine SSAW showcased this season's collection of Chanel Haute Couture clothes in an editorial for its Spring/Summer issue. “The clothes can be a bit classic and super feminine,” explained hairstylist Ramona Eschbach. “So we wanted to make the model look edgier and less sweet.”

Eschbach decided to do big, crimped hair complete with flyaways and a lot of volume. “It’s kind of punk and ‘80s with the crimped texture. But the way it’s styled keeps it from looking too retro. It’s still a soft and beautiful look.”

Get the Look:
1. Spray Imperméable Anti-Humidity Spray on each section of the hair and use a crimping iron to the set the hair.
2. Apply Dry Texturizing Spray all over the hair while brushing it out with a Mason Pearson brush, which will create a natural static to the hair. “Don’t use any hair spray after the hair is set,” said Eschbach. “Dry will keep the hair fluffy without looking stiff.”
