Perry Ellis by Duckie Brown

At the Spring 2013 Perry Ellis by Duckie Brown runway show, each model was fitted with an oversized khaki bowler hat. As a result, the hair for the show was neatly groomed and gelled back beneath each cap. “Slicking the hair back makes the guys feel more polished and more done,” explained lead hairstylist Ramona Eschbach for Oribe Hair Care. The final look was crisp, clean and a bit playful—a perfect fit for the somewhat offbeat menswear collection.

How to get the look:
1. Wet hair with Foundation Mist.
2. Use scissors to trim the hair, then clean the hairlines with a razor.
3. Apply Rock Hard Gel or Gel Sérum throughout the top of the hair and slick it back with a comb. Depending on the hair’s texture, Original Pomade might work better for slicking back.
4. Finish hair with Superfine Strong to keep down any flyaways.
