Marissa Webb

When asked about the inspiration behind the look for Marissa Webb’s Spring 2013 RTW collection, lead hairstylist Michael Angelo for Oribe Hair Care simply responded “Marissa.” For her much-anticipated debut collection, designer Marissa Webb left out no details. “Marissa was so specific and clear on what she wanted,” explained Michael. “She basically showed me three looks that she loved and asked if I could make them into one.” To complement Webb’s cool yet casual everyday ensembles, Michael created a modern Brigitte Bardot look. The hair was swept up and back off the models’ faces into low ponytails, letting the clothing take center stage.

Get the look:
1. Starting with straight or slightly waved hair, prep hair by spraying all over with Dry.
2. Neatly back-comb at the root all around the head, giving extra volume to the crown to create a subtle ’60s bump.
3. Use hands and Imperméable to smooth hair back into a low ponytail and secure with an elastic.
4. Wrap a strand of hair around the elastic using Rough Luxury and hold in place with pins.
5. Fluff ponytail with Dry.
6. Secure look with Superfine.
