Holidays are a perfect time to be a little daring and bring some vamp into your life.

Get the look:
1. Apply a medium gray eye shadow all over the eyelids. With a soft blending brush, apply a darker gray in the crease of your eyes and softly wing out the shadow toward your temples. Use a clean blending brush to erase any harsh lines and blend colors together.
2. Apply the medium grey color under your waterline (the inner rim of your eye) and bring around to the top of the wing. Fuse these lines together.
3. Fill in your waterline with a vibrant blue purple eye shadow. In the center of the eyelid, apply a silver cream color as a highlighter. If you want to be extra festive, apply fine silver glitter instead to give extra sparkle.
4. For the lips, use a lush matte red lipstick. Make sure the finish on the lips is matte so you do not overpower the look with too much shine. The eyes are the star of this look. You could also use a neutral lip color for a more demure look.
5. Keep cheek color to a minimum. Apply bronzer lightly around the perimeters of your face and use cream highlighter to add shine to your cheekbones.

This look makes a dramatic statement, can be done in less than 10 minutes and looks fantastic at any holiday party. It's also extremely easy, so even a makeup novice can wow her friends.

Get the look:
1. Prep skin with your normal moisturizer and conceal any spots and under the eyes.
2. Next, buff a finishing powder in your coordinating shade lightly onto the face to give a bit more coverage.
3. Sweep a small amount of NARS Blush in Madly with a blush brush in small circular motions in the hollows of your cheeks, blending with your foundation brush if you overdo it.
4. Apply a pinky mauve shadow all over your lid and under your bottom lashes as well.
5. With your fingertip, apply a few dabs of a shimmery white eye shadow just on the inner corners of your lid and blend outward toward your temples for a metallic glow. Avoid the temptation to apply liner. But if you must, an ultra-thin swipe of Laura Mercier's Black Gel Liner applied just to the top lashes will do the trick.
6. Curl lashes well and apply a volume mascara—at least two coats—on upper and lower lashes.
7. Fill in and shape brows lightly with a brow pencil in your coordinating shade.
8. Prep lips with a small amount of lip balm to hydrate. Using a sharp lip liner in a gorgeous deep berry color, fill your entire lip with color, using a lip brush to blend.

A cat-eye can be worn so many different ways. Although we often see it paired with a red lip, this particular look adds a pop of color to the cat-eye itself. By adding that bit of electric blue at the base, the look stays wearable for women of all ages. Women should not be afraid of color as long as, like every fun thing, it’s used in moderation.

Get the look:
1. This look can work on both matte and dewy skin. Apply your favorite foundation.
2. Use a warm blush like Bobbi Brown Blush in Almond to contour and blend over apples of the cheeks.
3. Take a cream shadow in a nude color and apply all over the eye, blending with fingertips. Use a beige-tan color in the crease by applying a little dab on a cream shadow brush and blending into the eye socket.
4. Tight-line the lash line with a blue eyeliner (try Dolce & Gabbana’s The Eyeliner in #21)
5. Using a black liquid liner, create a line from the outside corner of the lashes aiming towards the end-point of your eyebrow. At the halfway point, change direction and angle the eyeliner pen towards the middle of the lash line, drawing to where the liquid pen meets the blue eyeliner. Then, fill in the open space with the liquid liner and continue to draw the line from the middle to the inside corner of the eye, thinning the line in as it nears the inside corner.
6. Finish look with a shimmery pink lipstick.

A strong berry-toned lip paired with a soft silvery smoky eye feels festive and fresh. This look is great for all skin tones and works for any holiday gathering… day or night.

Get the look:
1. Prep the skin with your favorite long-wearing satin-finish foundation and contour using a matte bronzer. Set foundation using a translucent powder in the t-zone and areas you tend to get shiny.
2. Curl lashes and apply generous coats of black mascara to top and bottom lashes. Correct any mascara mistakes using a cotton bud.
3. Line the top lash line with black gel liner very close to the lash line to enhance the appearance of thicker lashes.
4. Use a cream eye shadow that sets to a waterproof finish in silver, pewter or gunmetal depending on your skin tone.
5. Apply the shadow starting just above the eyeliner on the upper lid, fading up and out toward the socket. For the lower lid, start just under the lashes and fade the shadow down and out toward the outer corners. Intensify the liner and mascara for extra drama.
6. Fill brows using a shadow one or two shades lighter than your brow hairs with a pencil or angle brush. Set brows with a clear brow gel, directing the hairs up and out.
7. For a long-wearing pout, line and fill in the lips using a lip liner the same shade as your lipstick. Apply a layer of a berry-toned lipstick then blot your lips with a tissue. Repeat the liner and lipstick, blot and dust with a thin layer of translucent powder (or an eye shadow in the same shade as the lipstick) for extra lip insurance.

I love this look because it is versatile, modern and elegant. Most importantly, it offers a clean and uncomplicated approach to glam that any woman can achieve.

Get the look:
1. For the eyelids, use a soft tone a few shades deeper than your natural skin color. Go a little heavy with the color, as this will give a soft and creamy effect to the lids. On the brow bone, use a shade that is lighter than your natural color to create a lifting and eye-opening appearance.
2. To finish the eye, use a bent liner brush with a gel liner (try Sonia Kashuk Dramatically Defining Long Wear Gel Liner and Bent Liner Brush). Start thinly, right on the lash line, towards the inner corner of your eyes. As you sweep the liner across your lash line, thicken the line. To “glamify' the eyeliner, stretch and lift it outwards.
3. Gently sweep a thin layer of bronzer from the ear towards the mouth.
Use a light from above your face to see your natural head shape. Tracing the shadow that the light creates is an easy way to get this right. When you see a shape you like, brush your favorite blush over the apples of your cheeks and cheekbones. (For double duty, check out Sonia Kashuk’s Chic Luminosity Bronzer/Blush Duo).
4. A quick and easy way to get a fuller look to the lips is by using two colors. Take a brighter color lipstick and saturate the majority of your lips, leaving the inner center bare. Apply a deeper tone lip gloss on the inner center of your lips. Rub your lips together and you’ll see a beautiful ombre effect!

A festive red lip is always a great look for any holiday party, and this super glossy lip is exceptionally glamorous.

Get the look:
1. It’s always important to start with a clean and moisturized face.
2. Begin this look with the eyes. Use a brow pencil in your coordinating shade to define brows.
3. With an eye shadow brush, apply a champagne-colored shadow across the entire lid. Use a rose gold shadow in the crease of the eye to create depth.
4. Line the lash line with a black eyeliner pencil and apply mascara to top and bottom lashes.
5. Next, apply foundation (like Clé de Peau Beauté Refining Fluid Foundation), concentrating on the center of the face and blending outwards with a foundation brush. Foundation should be applied modestly to even out skin tone, not cover the face. Use a concealer to cover any spots.
6. Apply a flush pink blush to apples of cheeks and highlighting powder across cheekbones.
7. Using a bright red lip liner (such as Clé de Peau Beauté Lip Liner in #204), draw around the line of your lips to emphasize their shape. Layer lip liner with a bright red lipstick (Clé de Peau Beauté Lipstick in #311), using a lip brush to apply. Finish lip with a coat of red gloss.
