Braids are an easy and fun way to create a holiday updo. This look may seem complicated, but it’s actually very simple to achieve.

1. In damp hair, apply a mixture of Gel Sérum and a touch of Gold Pomade and blow dry hair loosely with hands. When almost dry brush through the hair loosely.

2. Divide your head of hair into two sections, drawing the line from behind one ear to behind the other.

3. Fasten the bottom section into three ponytails at the nape of the neck, spray each with Dry to add some bulk and braid each pony. Use your hands to gently spread apart each braid, then braid all three together. Roll the large braid into a low bun and fasten with pins at the nape.

4. Separate the top into three section: the crown and the two sides.

5. Spray each side with Dry, then loosely braid them. Gently pull the braids apart to give them a more natural feel.

6. Wrap each braid around the crown and secure at the opposite ear (or the nape, depending on the length of the hair) with pins.

7. Use Dry at the roots of the top section to give it some lift—you can also back-comb for added height. With Fiber Groom evenly distributed on your fingers, run your fingers through the top section to create separation and lightly smooth the hair either straight back or to one side. Secure the section with pins or a vintage comb.

8. Spray with Imperméable to add hold and light reflection.

If you’re a girl on the go, try this simple recipe for thick, sexy, evening hair. It’s perfect for an after work party.

1. Spray Foundation Mist throughout the hair to either detangle if hair is wet or to add moisture if hair is dry.

2. Apply Rock Hard Gel to the first two inches of hair from the roots.

3. Apply Gel Sérum throughout the rest of the hair and blow dry hair all the way.

4. Curl hair with a 1.5-inch curling iron and pin up the curls in an “o” shape with bobby pins. Let them cool.

5. Release curls and spray Dry at the roots and mid-shaft.

6. Loop the hair by creating a ponytail and leaving the hair only halfway through the elastic on the final wrap around. Break the loop apart to make it fuller.

7. Finish the ends and the top “bun” with Shine to create a tousled and shiny look.

8. Get a cocktail and enjoy the party!

I love this style because it’s shiny, soft and glamorous…perfect for the holidays!

1. Spray Foundation Mist throughout wet hair and apply Supershine Light on the ends, then blow dry.

2. Spray sections of hair with Soft Lacquer and curl them with a medium-sized iron. Depending on how much hair you have, aim for about 10 curls throughout the front and top of hair and two curls in the back. Pin the curls to let them set.

3. Brush through the curls until the hair becomes one. Leave some movement and bend at the ends. Use Smooth Style Serum for any detailing around the face.

4. Finish with Shine.

I was very inspired by the Sonia Rykiel Fall/Winter 2012 hair created by Guido Palau. It has so many elements that I love that can be broken down and used for several different holiday looks.

1. Start with a nice blow dry with Gel Sérum.

2. Create a deep side part that complements the face.

3. Back-brush the crown with a little Dry at the root to give the top a good shape.

4. Section off a slightly asymmetric section at the nape behind the ear on the parted side and set it aside – this hair will fold over the twist you are about to create.

5. Spray some Superfine to keep sides close to the head as you brush the hair back into your hand and fashion a version of a French twist with the seam twisted up and starting from just behind the ear on the side with the part.

6. Spray Dry into the side panel and lightly back-brush it to create texture and a little bit of fuzziness. Fold the panel over the twist and secure with hidden pins.

7. Finish with Shine from the deep side part across the head. Add an adornment such as a clip or a pin if desired.

I love this glamorous look on Cate Blanchett for holiday. It looks regal, and the decadent height gives it a beautiful sense of occasion, but it's not too done.

1. Spray your hair all over with Shine for luxurious shine that photographs beautifully.

2. Part your hair down the center, and set your hair with small hot rollers radiating off of your center part. Let them cool, then shake your hair out and put a dab of Crème for Style on your fingers to rake your hair back off your face.

3. Finish with a generous spray of Superfine Strong.

This photo inspired me because not every woman is going to have time to run to the salon to have her hair done, and this can be created at home. It is a two-step look that’s perfect for the busy professional.

Part One:
1. Start with hair that has been prepped with your favorite Oribe shampoo and conditioner.

2. Apply a small amount of Supershine Light on the ends and Gel Sérum from roots to ends. Power dry your hair to remove all moisture.

3. Use Soft Lacquer section by section before setting hair in hot rollers (you could also use a curling iron). Allow set to cool while applying your makeup.

4. When hair is cool, brush your hair out and spray with Imperméable. Enjoy your day at work with your great looking hair.

Part Two:
1. Once your work day is done, run home, spay your roots with Dry, work the spray in with your fingertips and build up your texture focusing on the crown area.

2. Use a small clamp or a few bobby pins to twist your hair up onto the top of your head, making sure to hide all pins or the clamp.

3. Pull a few looks pieces out to make the undone updo look sexy.

This look is great for the holidays because it’s quick, easy to do and styled but not too formal....

1. Blow dry hair with Foundation Mist and Volumista.

2. Spray Dry at the roots and Imperméable from mid-shaft to ends.

3. Backcomb the roots into a bouffant. Tie into a low ponytail, then twist and secure in place with pins.

4. Finish with Superfine Strong.

This modern short, sleek and smooth hairstyle is suitable for any event around the holidays. The hairstyle has soft waves that frame the beauty of the face, and the look gives you a feel of 1920s glam.

1. Blow dry the hair with Royal Blowout for a smooth finish and create a side part.

2. Use a medium-sized iron to wave the top section of the hair. Spray with Superfine and pin the curls to let them set.

3. Brush out curls and use a comb and some Gel Sérum to shape the hair into flat, soft waves. Use clips to help the hair frame the face.

4. Spray Shine to add luster and bring out highlights.

5. Spray Superfine to provide hold and keep the style looking neat.
