“The inspiration was soft sexy hair, ” Rodney said of the effortless style he created for model/actress Rebecca Romijn. Rebecca first appeared on the magazine’s cover in 1999, which helped to make the gorgeous blonde a household name. <br />
<br />
<b>Get the look: </b><br />
1. Prep damp hair with <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/73/volumista-mist-for-volume/' target='_parent'>Volumista Mist for Volume</a> and blow-out hair using a round brush. <br />
2. Using a 1-inch curling iron, alternate curling sections of hair toward and away from the face. Waves in the front should be curled toward the back of the head so they frame the front of the face. <br />
3. Use a wide-tooth comb to gently break up the curls into loose waves. Finish by misting hair with <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/26/dry-texturizing-spray/related:73' target='_parent'>Dry Texturizing Spray</a> for extra volume. <br />

For supermodel Marisa Miller, Rodney went for a look that was “very <i>Sports Illustrated</i>.” Groves gave Marisa tousled waves with tons of body and softness for her beautiful portrait. <br />
<br />
<b>Get the look: </b><br />
1. Prep damp hair with <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/73/volumista-mist-for-volume/' target='_parent'>Volumista Mist for Volume</a> and blow-out hair using a round brush. <br />

<b>Get the look:</b><br />
1. On damp hair, massage <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/2226' target='_parent'>Grandiose Hair Plumping Mousse</a> into hair and comb through. Blow-dry hair with fingers. <br />
2. Take sections of hair and mist with <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/1473/apres-beach/' target='_parent'>Après Beach Wave & Shine Spray</a>, then wrap around a 1 ¼-inch curling iron, over-directing the hair to create volume at the root.<br />
3. Finish the look with a mist of <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/26/dry-texturizing-spray/related:73' target='_parent'>Dry Texturizing Spray</a>.<br />

“Veronica has beautiful long blonde hair with natural highlights, so I went straight for a strong rock look, giving a lot of texture and soft sexy waves.”<br />
<br />
<b>Get the look: </b><br />
1. On dry hair, apply a mixture of 70 percent <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/2226' target='_parent'>Grandiose Hair Plumping Mousse</a> and 30 percent <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/48/creme-for-style/related:50' target='_parent'>Crème for Style</a>.<br />
2. Blow-dry hair with fingers. Once dry, brush through with a Mason Pearson.<br />
3. Using a 1 ¼- inch curling iron, twist large sections of hair around the iron to create loose waves. <br />
4. Finish look with <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/26/dry-texturizing-spray/related:2226' target='_parent'>Dry Texturizing Spray</a>.<br />

“I was inspired by the beachy waves on girls in Brazil,” Chuck said of the look he created for Tyra Banks. “Since she wore a simple black dress for the shoot, we opted for something different and new. The beachy style also ties in the narrative of it being the Sportswear Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.”<br />
<br />
<b>Get the look: </b><br />
1. Apply a small amount of <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/48/creme-for-style/related:50' target='_parent'>Crème for Style</a> to damp hair. Blow-dry product into hair using your fingers.<br />
2. Take random sections of hair and wrap around a ¾-inch curling iron to create loose waves. <br />
3. Rub a small amount of <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/72/supershine-moisturizing-cream/related:51' target='_parent'>Supershine Moisturizing Cream</a> onto hands and run through hair to separate the waves into smaller sections.<br />
4. Spray hair with <a href='http://www.oribe.com/index.php/products/view/2230/soft-small-dry-conditioner-spray-small/' target='_parent'>Soft Dry Conditioner Spray</a> to keep waves tousled and separated from each other.<br />

For the 50th anniversary of their Swimsuit Edition,
Sports Illustrated brought together some of the gorgeous models who have graced the magazine’s cover in years past for the ultimate photo shoot. Hairstylists Rodney Groves, Marco Braca and Chuck Amos were on set for the historic shoot, styling a few of the cover girls with Oribe products.
