• Beach-Inspired Braids at Calla:
Calling all wannabe surfer babes. The beachy braids by Oribe Educator Ramona Eschbach at Calla are sure to brighten up your look this spring. Tie wave-enhanced strands into pretty plaits for a new take on beach hair. Add pops of neon string to your braid for extra adornment.

Get the look:
1. Spray dry hair with Foundation Mist and work into hair with hands to bring out natural wave. Spray Après Beach throughout the ends to add even more texture.
2. Take a few strands of neon string and wrap around a strand of hair. Braid string into hair, either in a tiny braid or fishtail. Long hair lends itself well to single and double braids, while short hair looks best with one or two tiny braids throughout. The braids should feel very loose and natural, allowing the texture you created in the previous steps to shine through.
3. Once you have finished braiding your hair, break them up a bit with your hands and spray the ends with Dry Texturizing Spray.
 • Piecey, Textured Waves at Rebecca Taylor:
For the utilitarian fashionista, textured waves are a go-to style for spring. Lead hairstylist Rutger created pieceyness in the ends and variation in the waves to make this look feel very do-it-yourself. Customize the style by changing up the barrel size of your curling iron for tighter or looser waves.
1. Spray Foundation Mist into the hair to detangle, add moisture and even out the hair's texture. Brush through the hair to create a natural parting and blow-dry with a boar bristle brush for a smooth finish.
2. Beginning at the crown, take large sections of hair and wind them around the barrel of a medium-size curling iron to create bend in the hair.
3. Spray Dry Texturizing Spray on the roots to rough up the texture.
4. Emulsify a little bit of Smooth Style Serum in your hands and run through hair to break up sections.
5. Spray Après Beach Wave and Shine Spray on the ends for shine and separation.
 • Knotted Bun at Custo Barcelona:
You can reinvent a tired topknot with a textured twist like the one featured at Custo Barcelona’s Spring/Summer 2014 show. After pulling hair back into a ponytail, lead hairstylist Duffy separated strands into two sections, then tied a few knots in the hair to create a multi-dimensional bun. The grunge-inspired style is a creative way to tie up long hair on a warm day.
1. Prep the hair with Volumista Mist for Volume and blow-dry while tousling tresses with your hands—do not use a brush.
2. Spray Dry Texturizing Spray throughout the hair for texture.
3. Pull the hair into a ponytail at the occipital bone.
4. Brush out the ponytail and rough up the top with your fingers.
5. Knot the ponytail—as you would a pair of shoelaces—three times.
6. Spray Maximista Thickening Spray at the hairline and then smooth it back with a brush.
 • Roughed-Up Gentleman at David Hart:
Update a classic men’s cut with the relaxed, textured style from David Hart’s Spring/Summer 2014 show. Lead hairstylist and Oribe Educator Kien Hoang mussed up strands to create this après beach look.

Get the Look:

1. Prep the hair with Foundation Mist.
2. Apply Surfcomber Tousled Texture Mousse throughout the hair and blow
dry.
3. Part the hair to the side and finish with Thick Dry Finishing Spray for body and texture. For boys with curlier hair, finish with Soft Dry Conditioner Spray to soften stiff curls for a cool vacation look.
 • Sleek High Ponytail at Mathieu Mirano:
Lead hairstylist Rita Marmor’s polished ponytails were the perfect topper to designer Mathieu Mirano’s elegant womenswear collection. A shiny, tight ponytail placed high on the head makes a serious statement for spring, and can be artfully accessorized with a thin band of fabric at the base, like the white patent leather strips Rita used in the show.

Get the look:

1. Dampen hair with Maximista Thickening Spray from roots to ends and blow-dry up and back with a Mason Pearson brush as straight as you can.
2. Take brush in one hand and Superfine Hair Spray in the other and begin misting the head with the spray as you brush the hair back into a ponytail. Press the hair tightly to the head, creating the smallest head shape possible. Tie hair into a ponytail with a piece of elastic just above the ears.
3. Spray sections of the ponytail with more Superfine and go over with a flat iron to get hair as straight as possible. Follow with another misting of Superfine to create shine and seal the quality of the ponytail.
4. Use Gel Sérum to smooth down any flyaways and add shine to the front and sides of the head. Finish with Superfine.
5. Take a ¾-inch thick piece of white patent leather (or any piece of fabric), wrap around the base of the ponytail and secure with a piece of double-sided tape.
