Skin can get really dry when you're flying. What can you do to ensure that your skin feels hydrated upon landing?

Before you board the plane, make sure that you’ve applied a hydrating moisturizer to your eyes, face, lips and hands. Be sure to bring carry-on sizes of your moisturizers, because you may need to reapply during the flight, especially if it’s a long one.

What's the best thing you can do for your skin post-flight?

Cleanse your skin with a wipe-off oil-based cleanser. This will soften and cleanse without stripping the skin. Follow with a light mist of a facial spray to hydrate and finish with moisturizer and lip balm. It’s always best to travel light.

Are there any skincare products that serve double-duty?

Mario Badescu’s Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30 is a moisturizer, antioxidant and sunscreen all in one. Also, our Cleansing Milk with carnation and rice oil will remove makeup and hydrate and cleanse skin, which is especially great if you’re prone to having dry skin.

You’ve landed at your final destination and discover that your under eyes are puffy. What's your game plan?

Pop a jar of eye gel or cream into the mini bar fridge in your hotel room before you go to bed. Apply it to the under eye area in the morning to deflate puffy eyes. In a pinch, snag a spoon from room service and do the same thing. In the morning, rest the rounded backside of the spoon under your eyes.
